The Woman, Life, Freedom group is an independent grassroots movement that has emerged as a continuation of the Iranian people’s struggle for freedom. Founded on the principles of equality, human rights, liberty, and social solidarity, the group seeks to create a safe platform for awareness-raising, support, and practical action toward achieving social justice and the rights of all Iranians.

We believe that sustainable change in society is achieved through unity, awareness, and persistent effort. Therefore, this group focuses on civil, educational, and support-oriented initiatives to foster active participation and collaboration among its members.

Group Objectives

  • Promote awareness and education about individual and social rights and advocate for gender equality across all sectors.
  • Establish a support network for women and individuals facing oppression and injustice.
  • Advance freedom of expression, the right to choose, and human dignity.
  • Oppose all forms of oppression, discrimination, and violence against women.

Core Values

  1. Equality and Human Rights
All individuals, regardless of gender, ethnicity, religion, or ideology, are entitled to equal rights. We particularly advocate for women’s freedom, autonomy, and right to choose in all areas of life.
  2. Freedom and Democracy
We uphold the freedom of speech and belief, and we support each person’s right to freely choose their lifestyle, clothing, profession, and other personal decisions. Combating tyranny and promoting democratic values are central to our mission.
  3. Solidarity and Social Justice
We believe in collective power and unity. Through effective engagement with activists inside and outside Iran, we aim to support individuals who are oppressed and build a more equitable society. We strive for social justice by addressing economic and social inequalities and creating equal opportunities for all.
  4. Non-Violence
We are committed to peaceful methods of social change and reject all forms of violence and retribution. Supporting victims of violence and creating safe environments for women and other vulnerable groups is a top priority in our work.
  5. Awareness and Education
We are dedicated to increasing public awareness by disseminating accurate information about women’s rights, personal freedoms, and human rights. Combating misinformation and empowering women and marginalized individuals are key aspects of our mission.
  6. Preserving Identity and Human Culture
We respect all cultures and beliefs that align with human rights values. The group seeks to uphold Iranian identity while promoting modern human rights principles and supporting cultures based on justice, freedom, and equality.
